Pressed Plant Art, floral collage, oshibana, mixed media art, Pressed Plant collage are different names for such kind of decorative art when an artist like me uses all kind of botanicals dried under the press to create an original art. Pressed Plant Art is thin, flat and looks like a painting. Somebody calls Pressed Plant Art as a floral painting. People started to create arts with dried under press plants in Japan. They named them oshibana. It was more than six hundred years ago. I’m a botanical material artist who uses the most modern technology to seal and protect Pressed Plant Arts from such destroying factors for them, as air, moisture, UV light and oxygen for many years. This is a vacuum sealing technology.
